MOOD BOARD MANUAL

What is a mood board?

A mood board is a personal, basket-like option in which you can save your preferred projects.
You can create several mood boards containing different projects that can be shared with family, friends or clients.

How does it work?

To create a mood board, you need to be logged on to the site with your user name and password.
If you are an unregistered user, you can create your profile via ‘LOGIN’.
This login enables you to save your mood board(s) and retrieve it at a later time.
For more information about the privacy of your personal data, please read the privacy & disclaimer.

2/Add projects to your mood board via the project detail page

On the homepage 4 world-known cities are presented. These cities represent a certain lifestyle. If you choose for ‘environmental’ references (Copenhagen), you are directed to an overview page that shows all projects that qualify under sustainable solutions. If you are however looking for a specific building style, the site offers you the choice between avant-garde (Tokyo), contemporary (Montreal) or traditional (London). Once you have made your choice in lifestyle, a next step allows you to choose from different product groups: windows & doors, curtain walls, sliding systems, sunscreening or conservatories. After you have chosen a particular project, a project detail page shows all information about this reference. This page can be added to your mood board via the button on the right ‘Add to mood board’.

If you have no active mood boards, you will be asked to create one.

If you have not logged on yet, you will be asked for your login and password or, if you are a new user, to register.

If you have created mood boards before, a pop-up window will appear in which you can add that project to an existing mood board or create a new one.

  • Choose the main image you want to show in the mood board via the arrows
  • Select an existing mood board or create a new one
  • Add a personal note to the project you are adding

Once a mood board is created, you can benefit from the following functionalities:

  • Overview: overview of all your mood boards
. You can choose to Edit, mail or print them.

  • Detail page: shows an overview of all projects in a selected mood board
. Via this page the mood board with all its projects can be:
    •
Printed = print-friendly version of the mood board page
    • Mailed (see below)
    • Added to with new projects

Beside all projects, you can click on ‘view project’ to go to the detail page. Or choose to edit it or delete it from the mood board.

Mail mood boards: The final mood board enables architects to make suggestions to their clients and end-users to share ideas with family and friends. This establishes a new and innovative communication link amongst the key stakeholders to inspirational architecture and building design. You can choose to send the default message or personalize with your own comments.

2/Access or create mood board(s) directly via the ‘MY MOODBOARDS’ button in the menu.

All previous functionalities apply.

Important note: Please take into account that shared/mailed mood boards that are deleted can no longer be viewed by the recipients.
