The Chiswick Park Project is a unique development of six office buildings set in a business park within a suburban location close to London’s Heathrow Airport. The project called for an innovative approach to the sunscreening requirement.
 
The architect and client worked closely together to develop a customized solution. It consists of walkways carried on extruded support arms and hung from roof level by means of stainless steel rods attached to purpose-built aluminium support castings. The roof canopy was formed using a 700 mm extruded elliptical blade carried on supporting steelwork. A further four buildings are to be built following the same design to complete this unique project.
