“A wonderful view, pure air, a pleasant place for walks...” is how the brochure describes the Vorontsovo luxury residential apartment building in the south-west region of Moscow. Situated close to the Vorontsovsky Park, famous for its ancient ponds, this concrete monolith building with a brick facing extends to 30 floors.
 
The building is in the form of an arch, and all rooms enjoy excellent natural lighting. To harmonise the appearance of the building with that of the park, open spaces are filled with attractive lawns and flower beds, and the architects even designed a stepped roof for winter gardens. The result lies somewhere in between an old-style Russian country mansion and a modern apartment building. No doubt the brochure could have added “a perfectly comfortable and convenient place to enjoy life in Moscow”.
